Cheapest Incredible Hulk

It's okay, but it gets boring very quick. Overall, it is a good game, but I would not have bought it if I have tried it out before.Get more detail about Incredible Hulk.

Cheap Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis

My son (8) was VERY insistent that he had to have this game, that it was THE game on his wishlist for the holidays. Well, it has been far overshadowed by Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones...and this even though he is a dino-freak.

I have played with this game too for awhile and after playing the Zootycoon Complete collection, there isnt that much that is new or thrilling here. And this game was expensive, far more so than I would have normally paid for an old realease - but the kid was really insistent.

My advice, don't let your kid goad you into getting this, you'll both be dissappointed.Get more detail about Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis.

Purchase PS2 Pac-Man World 3

I remember PacMan world 2, it was a great game and had a great mini game arcade.
Too bad Pacman World 3 only includes the original PacMan as a mini game and not the rest.

The game itself is darker than PacMan world 2. The storyline, though still for kids, is not as light hearted.

Overall, the game could have been tested a little better. The graphics are very good for a PS2 game. I like it as a game on it's own, though it has much to be desired when compared to the original Pacman World and Pacman world 2.Get more detail about PS2 Pac-Man World 3.

Order Universal Multi Guitar Stand

The stand looked like a compact way to store 2 guitars, but it is very cheaply made and is too light weight. If you only put 1 guitar in the back, it starts to tip over. The guitars don't stay upright, they want to tip sideways and fall over. Should be something on either side of the guitar necks to hold them up.Get more detail about Universal Multi Guitar Stand.

Where To Buy Spawn: Armaggedon

I recently bought this game seeing that it was only $20. It has a good story with a challenging game too. Possible Spoliers Ahead: Spawn in the beginning is attacked by some green lazer thing. He learns from Mammon a mysterious figure that he will face demons. You will face bosses that include a spider truck, a buldozer, and lots of villains from the comic books. The game is gory and fun for those who don't take the game seriously. If you do then you may like this game, but if you don't care you will enjoy it.Get more detail about Spawn: Armaggedon.

Shop For Time Splitters: Future Perfect

If the only shooter you've ever played is the oringinal "Doom" or "Duke Nuke 'Em", or if you're under 12 years old, then you'll probably like this game.

If, however, you've ever played Black, SOCOM, Everything Or Nothing, Cold Winter, Splinter Cell, Max Payne, Syphon Filter (including the PS1 Syphon Filter), Red Faction, or any other decent shooter, then you'll be bored out of you mind like I was. This game is cartoonish and has a distinct arcade-game feel to it. Every 20 seconds someone is telling you which way to go. Kills are very unsatisfying and weapons lack that visceral feel that you get in the games listed above.

Don't be foold: although some of the designers behind Golden Eye created this game, Future Perfect is not even close to Golden Eye.Get more detail about Time Splitters: Future Perfect.

NFL Street 3 Top Quality

I have never played any of the other NFL Street games before, but I bought this one because it looked cool. Well when I got it I played it and I got addicted really quickly. There are a few problems, such as there aren't very many recievers, the music is iffy and the buttons take a while to get used to.

But other than that...the graphics are really good. It gets really addicting after a while. I have found myself many nights saying, only one more game, one more game. And 5 games later I call it a night. But I think its a good game.Get more detail about NFL Street 3.

Siren Immediately

Well, to rate this game fairly you need to look t it from a different view. Unlike other games in the horror genre (e.g Silent Hill, Resident Evil,...etc.) this game actually tries to set a different standard of horror. A horror that's constantly looming and lurking.

This game is composed of little games led by different characters, and they range from the very young to the very old, the very fit to the very blind! Yes blind!. Each character has their share of strength, weakness and weapon (if any for that matter) and the missions are set at different times of the day (or night) in a (something went wrong type of) village.

Now, as I have read from other reviews on this page that the gameplay is frustrating at (or all) times, but that is due to the fact that they are playing the game alone! This game should not be played alone as I have discovered, but you should surround yourself with a group of people (family and/or friends) as each character may or may not appeal to you.

As aforementioned, the horror is constantly looming and lurking by the loitering "Shibitos" (zombies in japanese it would seem!) at the corners, behind the bushes or falling at you from the sky! You can choose to sightjack the "Shibitos" (as in tapping to their vision telepathically to view their positions) or opt for our (the gang and I) quick method of legging it! (running for the character's life!) since you cannot kill a "Shibito" by shooting or bludgeonning as it will only curl to slumber for a minute or so.

This game should be given justice and not be compared with the like of "Silent Hill" or "Resident Evil" as it really does strive to set a new horror standard. Just stick to my advice of not playing it alone and legging the character throughout the mission and you maybe able to complete the game. We have. Twice!

A Japanese friend bought the JAPAN version of "Siren 2" boy! does it look creepy. I can't hardly wait for the english version to come out so the gang and I could pull our socks up and start legging it again!Get more detail about Siren.

Risk: Global Domination Best Quality

When you play this game it seems you are playing with a bunch of stoned people. I agree that the AI is dumb as a doornail, but the voice acting is so comical that it makes me laugh every time I play it. All the characters seem to be on some kind od drug and they play or say the most random things. The gameplay is ok, but the best part of this game is laughing at the computer AI for their stupid moves and taunts. If you are a true serious Risk fan forget this game, however if you like to play games just to make fun of them this is the one for you!Get more detail about Risk: Global Domination.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Get it now!

This game is mostly an improvement over the previous two, but some things are not. I won't be doing many comparisons in my review, so newcomers to the Harry Potter games shouldn't worry about that. Here is a quick overview of what the game has to offer:
- Play as Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
- Each character has different skills.
- Collect Wizards Cards and pages from the Folio Bruti.
- Partake in different kinds of side quest challenges.
- Gather potion ingredients
- Go in dangerous castle dungeons during lessons to learn new spells.
- Mini games such as dueling, owl racing, and Buckbeak's challenge of eating bats.
- Fly Buckbeak around the castle for fun (replacement for broom riding).
- No. You do NOT play Quidditch. Ever.
Now for the lengthy part of the review.

To start off with, the Hogwarts grounds have been remodeled to fit the movie. I believe this is a plus because it's more exciting, visually pleasing, and mysterious than the previous games. I also believe the interior of the castle is also a definite improvement.

Hogwarts: The exploration of Hogwarts could have been better. For some reason, during some parts of the game, rooms and hallways are locked so you do not have free range exploration all of the time. But don't fear, most of the time you CAN go just about anywhere. Around Hogwarts are little puzzles to solve, Wizard Cards to collect, pages of the Folio Bruti to grab, and various other little things. Some of these collectible were a little tricky to get.

Sneaking: Sneaking is a lot easier in this game. Prefects no longer deduct house points when the catch you. Hooray!. The prefects are also a lot more stupid. You can shoot spells across the room, but as long as you're in a corner they won't notice you're there. You also have to sneak past armor statues, but these are even easier than the prefects. You see a purple "eye sight" beam sweeping back and forth. You can stand in front of the statues, but you won't get caught unless you touch the purple beam.

Classroom Challenges: Even in this installment, it's obvious teachers don't care about the well being of their students. They still send you through passageways into dangerous areas where you have to battle monsters and solve puzzles. The dungeons in this game are MUCH longer than previous games, and I believe the battles are more difficult as well. The bosses. The lovely bosses are cleverly designed and defeating them takes more than just senselessly pushing spell buttons.

Potions Challenges: When you're not putting your life at stake for education in wand-work lessons, you're somewhat risking your life for cauldron lessons. Snape has you collect ingredients for his future potions lessons. Sometimes acquiring them is easy and safe, but once in a while you have to avoid becoming hurt.

Buckbeak: There is no broom flying (no Quidditch playing either), instead you fly Buckbeak the Hippogriff. Flying Buckbeak is a lot of fun. Somewhat different from flying a broomstick, but it still has a lot of charm.

Music: The music for this game is amazing. Simply amazing. A bit mysterious, too.

The Bad: There are only two things I don't like about this game. The first one, the return of the lengthy and annoyingly frequent load times return, isn't too bad. This I can easily pass off and still have a lot of fun. The second problem is by far the worst addition ever: Your friends complain every five seconds with sentences like "We need to go to Potions" and "Come ON, lets gooo." I don't know who in the right mind thought this was a good addition. The characters should have been silent.

BUT... regardless of your overly whiny companions, it is still a very enjoyable game in which to explore.Get more detail about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Eye Toy Play 2 with Camera Buy Now

great idea on sony's part to try interactivity through camera around 2002. too bad they didn't advertise it enough so it didn't catch on & the technology at the time was limited. the camera "sees" motion by seeing colors. change in color = movement. so making sure you are different color then everything behind you, no bright lights where the camera can see, limited clutter/items behind you & enough light to see is crucial.

Games
Playroom (mini/micro games) - Antigrav (eyetoy hooverboard game), coloring, pool (hexagon w/pockets, not rectangle), sonic sub (use voice to move submarine), sonic goo (use voice to manipulate shapes), fruit fighters (use colored paper to have your fighter stand on in your hand & move to fight), wizard (draw shapes to cast spells), chameleon (embossing, invisible, etc. effects by camera taking picture w/you out of frame first), Solar System (travel solar system & cool color computer effects you effect using same idea as chameleon)
Cameo - take photo of your head & it then is superimposed on head on a spring so you can punch it or make it explode into many mini ones.
Extras - Spytoy (use as security camera), Alarm mode (detects movement & sound & graphics go off), Stealth Mode (takes a pic of anyone comes in front of cam), Time Lapse mode (takes snapshots throughout the day), Video Messaging (saves to memory card)

Air Guitar - on screen guitar with couple of positions & strum/pick notes as they fall & boss levels with mimicking what boss did
homerun - has mini map to show what's going on in field, you can bat (tells you direction so you can gauge time) & you can run & steal bases.
Knockout - boxing in ring against 4 increasingly hard opponents, also has speed bag, heavy bag & sparring mitts mini game levels
DIY - various outdoor & indoor projects & gives you virtual heavy duty professional tools
Drummin - several levels of different style drums to hit when the ball floats to that drum w/boss simon/memory levels
Goalattack - guarding soccer goal, by moving your body or hands in directions up/down left/right moves your face/square to block balls from hitting net. also has fitness test (running/jumping), reaction test (hit balls that blink) & agility test (guide balls into colored baskets) mini games.
Secret Agent - break out of your cell in an enemy castle. get items, move & safe-crack all while avoiding the searchlights & cctv.
table tennis - using your hand or even any item or real ping pong racket, try to win against 4 opponents. good programing, ball even seems to bounce like how it would in real life depending on how you hit it & even it's speed.
Kung 2 - like Kung Foo w/traps to dodge, not allowing ninjas to escape & regular punching of minions. 3 bosses: one can turn to stone to avoid hits, one uses traps & hydra who uses lighting, ice & fire attacks.
Mr Chef - Cooling mama in a fast food restaurant. you have to make the burgers (pickles & cheese too), fries, ice cream, pancakes & even ketchup as well as fill orders correctly in time.
Monkeybars - in a swinging mechanical monkey, swing your way down a 3d skyscraper filled with bars, grabbing time clocks, bananas & other power-ups to get to the ground before time runs out.

multi-player mode only
bomb doge - like hot potato, don't let explode in your section
weight lifting - wave hands under ton weights the fastest
chopper landing - hit target when helicopter flies over it
building crush - crush fastest
running - be fastest
sunflower - wave hands over cloud to water plant & make grow fastest

TAC DSK-BLU Illuminated Drum Sticks - Blue Order Now

We got these sticks for our friend who plays expert drums. Since we usually play in front of a bunch of people, we thought it'd be cool and flashy to have these sticks for our outdoor night sessions. So we throw in our favorite game: Guitar Hero Metallica and were about 30-40 seconds into a song (can't recall which one, but if you've played the game you know it can be drum-tastic), and I see this plastic projectile fly past my face and our drummer laughing his ass off. Mind you, these we fresh out of the package moments before. Although it was funny to see these things snap in half, especially in front of like 30 people, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Unless you have an absolute feathery drum style, these pieces of crap will not last. Better to invest in a comfortable drum chair (or maybe a small fan to point at the drummer if he's a profuse sweater :P)Get more detail about TAC DSK-BLU Illuminated Drum Sticks - Blue.

This is a very fun game to play! Especially if you're having people over. It has something for almost every age group. so, while this is an interesting and creepy game, its just not woth the $110.oo price tag at the top of the page. the game has some nice effects, and a decent storyline, but don't ask me to be impressed by big name voice actors. its heart is true to the FPS type game, while remaing dark(i had to use the flashlight alot), AND ALMOST SCARY. the sound effects were decent and the visuals were good. there is also some version of online player maps reminscent of HALO. overall its a fun game.Get more detail about Area 51.

Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance

Well,a lot of people didn't like MGS 2 because you only got to play snake for about 1/4th of the game. (Applies mostly to people who played the first) But if you give this game a chance you will see how spectacular it really is.

In MGS 2 you play as a rookie spy named Raiden,His mission seems simple at first but quickly gets complicated.

Graphics,as seems to be a tradition with MGS games raised the bar for what good graphics were. MGS 2 has held up very well and still looks great!

Overall this is the weakest game of the 4 main MGS's but is a great game in its own right. A definite pick up,but the story does get a tad wacky at the end.Get more detail about Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance.

Thrillville: Off the Rails Review

The game is fun and my 7 yr old really enjoyed it in his PS2. It will get to a certain spot or certain areas and the game will freeze or play erractically. He really enjoyed the concept though, but the game is terrible for trying to actually enjoy and will frustrate those who try to play it. PlayStation 2 USB Headset Top Quality

I got this headset over 4 years ago at a Wal-mart on clearance for $12.00. I thought I'd use it for my ps2 but didn't get around to it. I instead found out that it was pc compatible and have been using it for my computers sound ever since. Now as for quality, it did have a few swivel problems (which were fixed via a rubber band and has not been an issue since) as far as sound though, its pretty good considering its price range. Just recently however it took a turn for the worse and died out on me. Still 4 years of pretty heavy use is pretty good for a cheap mid range headset IMHO. Only regret is that I didn't get two.Get more detail about PlayStation 2 USB Headset.

X-Men: The Official Game This instant

this game has good graphics, good fighting moves, but is not worth the cost, your time, or the time it took to make. after a while, the missions and boss fights are too hard, and there is no invincibility cheat, so you just can't pass it, which means if you see this game for sale online or at a store, pass it up, and if you don't like it, return it, or if you can't, sell it, or destroy it if you want to.Get more detail about X-Men: The Official Game.

Jeep Thrills Immediately

I'm a gamer, but I'm also a Jeep enthusiast. I own a real Jeep Wrangler, so I couldn't resist trying this game out. I was mainly interested in the selection of Jeep models to choose from. When I received the game in the mail I popped it in my PS2 and let her run. You start off with a few different vehicles while all the others are locked. What I found silly is that two-player racing is an unlockable, and that seems silly to me. It should be available from the start. Instead, it forces players to do single modes before two friends can race together.
So, after I tore up some races with the Jeep Gladiator, I decided to go exploring. You can go off road on some of the maps, which is neat but not conducive to winning races. You have boosters to speed up, or in my case speed up and crash. I'm one of those people that enjoy crashing and seeing how many different ways there are to flip a vehicle. In this game, there are some surprising crashes to pull off. I wasn't expecting much, but I'm happy to say I've enjoyed what this PlayStation 2 game has given me.

Regarding the controls:
They are simple and not overly challenging. Children should be able to easily grasp what does what. I personally try things first and then read the directions if I become lost. I didn't need to read the directions so I'll say it is a low difficulty.
I enjoy testing games and finding glitches, and so far I've only found one. It's a fairly common glitch and I've seen it in many other games. I was Jeepin' along when my vehicle decided to freeze in place. The music and sound effects continued, but I wasn't going anywhere. I had to restart the game. No big deal, I wasn't playing to win that time anyway.

Other:
You can choose the color of your vehicle.
Statistics of the vehicle are displayed (acceleration, handling, boost, ect.) so you can choose a vehicle better suited to a particular terrain.
The more you crash = more damage caused to your vehicle.
The more you play, the more you unlock.
Certain races were a real challenge. Eventually I was convinced to try a vehicle other than the Gladiator or Wrangler.
Don't expect to use boosters from a dead stop to get going. It doesn't work, at least not for me.
This is a PS2 game, and since the world is currently into the PS3 and Xbox 360, you can't logically expect much for graphics. For what it is and its age, they are... well let's be honest... not that great. The game was supposedly released in 2008. I'd expect better for a PS2 game released in '08.

Overall:
The real fun of this game is getting to race your favorite Jeeps as well as concept Jeeps. Hardcore racing game fans will find little to nothing of interest in this game.

Star Trek Encounters Buy Now

I recently bought this "overpriced" silly game at Gamestop (long story...tried to return this and they wouldn't let me return it at first, and had to threaten them to take it back!? Haha...it was more involved than that, but seriosly a very true story), and I will never shop at Gamestop again...because Amazon is awesome, I should have known better of course. Lesson well learned! So anyway, on with the review:

Amazon has a better selection, can read all reviews about the product first, then find out if the pruchase is worth buying, then judge for yourself, save time n money if you so choose to listen to the reviews. Also, Amazon has much better deals; prices on both new and used items. If i would have came here first i would have seen that this game had 3 stars, and rightfully so! I was surprised it even had that many!!?

So anyway, i bought this game, played it for a week, then returned it because I COULD NOT STAND how the funky controls worked and the way it manuevered the ship. Plus, it didn't seem very action packed, and your stuck in one place all the time, WTF is tha about!? I thought the game would would let you travel around space and time shooting up enemies, but no, not really!? It ONLY lets you shoot a phaser once in awhile in hoping to hit your opponent, plus the torpedos are impossible to hit any enemy ships anyway. It has some clutzy laser scan that you need to incorporate the enemy with in order to hit your target using your left thumb...i thougt this was too much!

Besides that silliness, another thing that is very irritating, is that your viewing angle for the ship is from some FAR-OFF ANGLE in space (maybe Jupitars moon perhaps?) and it is very very tiny n small! Who wants to view the ship this way as an observor on some far off planet!? There should be a choice for zoom, viewing angle, observation point, etc...maybe there is, but i didn't give it enough chance and have better games to play with my time.

Not only that, the game gets very boring really quickly! So for your entertainment doller please go spend it on a nice Star Trek movie or dvd, you will not regeret. But I forwarned you ahead of time, heed my warning & beware, keep the reciept if you do not listen to me just in case, I'm tellin' ya....or if you rent it by curiosity, might as well just flush your rental money down the toilet for this game...I think you would have better entertainment value using this disc for a beer coaster!

Eternal Poison Decide Now

I wanted to love this game so much! The operatic introduction and appearances of the denizens of Besek really define the game as a gothic, hellbound fantasy. The atmosphere and story are works of art. Since this was a strategy RPG, I was expecting some degree of slowness in the combat. However each battle takes about forty five minutes (or longer) depending on the number of enemies and what options you've selected. Each attack/defend sequence itself is thirty seconds long, meaning if you have twenty enemies and five player characters, each of which take 3-5 'hits' before death, you're looking at around an hour of watching the same tedious combat animations again and again. You can turn them off, but if you do, the game loses the wonderful opera voices that give it so much style. (Even with minimized combat animations, expect long combats.)

Also, in order to capture 'boss' enemies, you literally have to orchestrate the entire hour of combat around that single goal. If random chance does too much (or too little) damage to an enemy, then you have to do the entire thing again. This means about twenty hours in, when the atmospherics wear off, the game becomes nothing more than a tedious time waster. I couldn't find a 'fast-forward' for dialogue either.

So while I give this A++ for story and graphics, the actual game play itself is bad. For comparison, a battle in every other SRPG I've ever played takes less time than a long, hard-fought battle in Eternal Poison. As much as I want to praise this game, I just can't recommend it.Get more detail about Eternal Poison.

Playstation 2 Lava Glow 2.4 GHZ RF Wireless Controller Right now

Disregard all the negative feedbacks left for this wireless controller. This controller is awesome!!! If you want the best wireless controller that actually glows and looks awesome, this is THE ONE! People who have been saying that they had a hard time powering on the controller, they never read the instructions. If you follow the instructions on the little menu provided within the box, it's a piece of cake. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. I'm happy with my controller and will order another one. :) THIS IS THE WAY TO GO!

I do have to mention one thing that all should be aware of. The analog stick respond a couple of seconds late but if you roll it for a while it will catch up to the speed it's suppose to go. It's not really an issue for me. It works, but just a few seconds off when you want it to respond immediately. I play RPG'S, so it doesn't really matter to me. I use the sticks a lot over the arrows. It works for me. Just that after a while that you haven't touch it, it slows down a bit until it picks up the pace. I hope this makes sense.

Low Price Yu-Gi-Oh GX: The Beginning of Destiny

I have to admit, when Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny for the PS2 arrived at my home office; I was didn't have a clue what to think. Not only am I completely unfamiliar with the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise but generally, other than Texas Hold-Em' Poker, I don't care much for card-based video games. Although The Beginning of Destiny is unlike any card-based game I have played before the game suffers on so many levels. I guess you could say I am still waiting for that card-based video game to come along and knock my socks off. In terms of the visuals, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny is a bit of a disappointment. I had to check the box a few times to make sure it was not an original PSone game. Granted The Beginning of Destiny is essentially a card game so I was not expecting much in the way of style, presentation and visuals. Nevertheless, at this stage in the game, and this long into the life of the PS2, the game's visuals are quite unacceptable. The Beginning of Destiny doesn't even come close to pushing the limits of the PS2, so it does not surprise me that the developers didn't even think about putting this game on a next-generation console.
First off, the characters look terrible. From a distance you can't even tell if you are looking at a male or female character. Furthermore, the characters display no emotion and are quite bland. You would think that given the title is based on Japanese anime that we would see some colourful, vibrant and exiting characters. Sadly this is not the case. Simply put, the characters look unfinished and rushed. My second gripe is that the cut-scenes are lacklustre and repetitive. You are essentially thrown into these scenes with the same old characters playing the same old card game and this is repetitive and sloppy. Generally speaking, I expect cut-scenes to look better than the actual in-game visuals but I think it may be the reverse in this case. Finally, the actual card game in The Beginning of Destiny looks decent but there is nothing visually inspiring about the graphics. Having seen some screen shots of previous Yu-Gi-Oh games I don't see much of a difference with this installment. Overall, I just felt so much more effort and time could have spent making this a better looking game. Perhaps it might have actually made the game more appealing than it turned out. The sound in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny doesn't fair much better than the visuals. The repetitive music becomes incredibly painful after awhile as it just seems to loop over and over again. As I played I really did wish that I could listen to my own tunes instead of the lame jazzy beats you get in The Beginning of Destiny. Unfortunately, the PS2 or PS3 does not have this ability. Another concern is the overall lack of in-game voice acting. Instead the characters move their mouths and nothing comes out. It really makes the game come across as a budget title in my opinion. As for rest of the sound effects, it all seems forgettable. In fact, I can't even remember if I heard any or not. It's that forgettable. For those of you who do not know, Yu-Gi-Oh is a card game which is also a popular Japanese anime. Created by Kazuki Takahashi, Yu-Gi-Oh is complex card game wherein each player uses cards in order to defeat one another. It's also been referred to as `Monster Dual'. When I say the game is complex that is probably an understatement as I am simply unable to describe all the `ins and outs' of Yu-Gi-Oh in one review. Although Yu-Gi-Oh is not for everyone the game has a huge following and obviously a big enough following to warrant a video game franchise. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny features a story mode where you play a student who has recently arrived at the Dual Academy. A big Yu-Gi-Oh competition is looming and you need to befriend another student so you can compete in the competition. As such, you begin a journey of sorts to earn the trust of your peers and ultimately find a partner for the competition. The majority of your time is spent doing what regular college students do such as studying, socializing, etc. During these times you basically interact with each student you meet and try to earn their trust. The game features quite a few characters (approximately 50) but you will only regularly interact with the main characters in the game. These main characters are the same main characters you see in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. Eventually you end up selecting one of the main characters for the competition. As you progress through the game, it tracks your progress with each character and items such as trust and skill are tracked with each character you encounter. The single experience in The Beginning of Destiny is an open concept sim-game of sorts which had the potential to be very intriguing but it ends up falling flat more often than not. For instance, making friends and building trust doesn't take much effort as the AI essentially spoon feeds the topic you are supposed to discuss. Before you get into any conversation with another student they will basically give you a strong hint as to what they want to discuss. Unless you can't read you will figure this out pretty quickly. When you approach a character you generally have four different topics to discuss: Duels, Hobbies, The Academy and Rumours. Granted the AI can be unpredictable at times, however for the most part building relationships and increasing your stats takes no effort. At the end of the day I just didn't find this aspect of the game incredibly challenging. The single player mode certainly adds some spice the game; however the backbone of the franchise has always been the card game itself. Having never played Yu-Gi-Oh before I certainly struggled at times but fortunately there is an abundance of tips and tutorials scattered about during the game. You just have to go to class to learn the 'ins and outs'. For myself, the card game did not convert me into a Yu-Gi-Oh fanatic; however I can certainly see the appeal. There is no doubt the addiction factor is high in this game. There is a mode in the game where you can essentially by-pass the story mode and play a quick game with a buddy. Unfortunately that buddy has to be playing on the same console. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny does not feature online gameplay. This is not all that surprising considering this is a 'last-gen' title however some online play would have been a bonus here. Unless you are die-hard Yu-Gi-Oh fanatic with lots of experience with the game or franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny likely won't captivate you on any level. The visuals are less than stellar and the sound is equally un-impressive. While the card duel games can be enjoyable, the single player experience will not be enough to keep you coming back.

Save Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick

Okay, practically everyone in existence hated "Evil Dead: Hail to the King" I actually liked that game because it provided more of a sense of horror compared to this game. For example, in "Hail to the King" -you run around in the woods alone at night, walk through cellars, grave yards and battle deadite bosses. Also, Ash is more of a tough guy in "Hail to the King." He says some pretty radical things, too. It gives you the feeling that he's the Ash from the end of "Army of Darkness" and that this game could've been made into a fourth Evil Dead. I know Ash's character was never supposed to become a leader of men, according to the creators of EVIL DEAD, but Ash is a lot more likable that way.

Now don't get me wrong, for twenty bucks, this game does a good job. It gives you the feeling that your in a neighborhood that has become overrun with deadites. But it gets a tad bit repetitive running around on the city streets. Also, How come there are no blocks or streets and this town is just a bunch of windy turns with porno shops and hardware stores everywhere? Basically every level in the game has you do the following: A) Run around and shoot stuff and B)Run around and collect stuff. But that's not the worst part.

1) All the bosses have the same cartoonish look to them that reminds me more of Slimer from "Ghostbusters" as opposed to an actual deadite. Not scary and you all battle them in really stupid unrealistic ways. Like using a shovel to deflect energy balls. Um, how about you hit it with your chainsaw and then shoot it death? That would actually make for interesting gameplay considering the amount of space you can run around in.

2) The ending. Ugh, what a piece of crap ending. Ash says some really REALLY dumb joke (It makes the chicken crossing the road joke look like Chris Rock's stand up) and it leaves no opening for a sequel, or a sequel that you would want anyway. Evil dead in feudal (Place not in United States, I don't want to ruin it). Umm... Let me think...No, thanks!

3) Ash is such an ugly loser in this game. (Both design wise and as an overall video game character) He says like 5 funny/cool things in the games cutscenes and the rest of the time he just keeps saying REALLY stupid things that aren't funny and then he follows it up with 6 other sentences that aren't funny or entertaining. He should have said less throughout the game.

Overall, this was a good game. The amount of new weapons was awesome. It did get repetitive but there are some bonus levels to play to test your skill that you unlock through out the game. So this game could keep you busy for awhile. The music in this game is okay, but the "Hail to the King" theme was AMAZING. This theme. Bland. Bland. And lastly. Bland. All considering, it was better than "Evil Dead: Regeneration." Thanks for reading.Get more detail about Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick.

Discount Contra: Shattered Soldier

I was able to solve Contra & Super C without loosing a life. Contra III took a while but I think I still one-man solved it on the easiest difficulty & solved it on the hardest. This is the 1st (good) Contra game I never solved without loosing a life. Heck it took me long enought to even solve it. I taped it along with my one-man solves of the others for prosperity.

Contra, Super C, Contra III, Shattered Soldier, & Neo Contra are what I call the good ones.

Contra III probably the best. Not as "outdated" as Contra & Super C but the best difficulty of the newer age games (esp since it has variable difficulty).
