I don't love this game, but I do like it. Although it is almost all combat, the elements and breaths are amazingly fun to use. The storyline is a bit tedious to listen to, and the names of the dragons are certainly not very original, but it is a very fun game. I got stuck a few times but this is not a puzzle game. My only gripe with this game is the lighting, especially in the swamp. It was really hard to see; I had to close the blinds by my TV. This is the first Spyro game I have purchased, and so I can't compare it to the rest of the games, but on its own this game is very fun and addictive. If I could, I would give it 4 and a half stars, but the graphics (which are beautiful for the PS2) made it a 5 star game.
