Being new to the world of video games and in my 50's, I found this game to be one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Incredible tension, explosive violence, and absolutely stunning adventures in fantastically realistic combat! The pace and action is overwhelming and one can feel their heart bursting from their chest as they fight for their very lives. The blasting sound of gunfire and screams of agony are breathtaking, as enemy snipers, artillery, aircraft, and tanks attack. Being on a powerful anti-aircraft gun as Stukas dive directly at you is pulse pounding as fear and desperation fill you with a rush unlike anything you've ever felt. From the burning deserts to machine gun swept beaches, from sniper filled towns to flack filled skies, this is war! As I begin my journey into WWII combat on the PS2 my young nephew gave me, I feel honored to join the ranks of all of you veterans of the many games available.
