When I first rented this game from Blockbuster, I expected it to be pretty fun and exciting. What I got was far better. I loved the game so much that I later bought it.
First off, this game's levels aren't like your ordinary video game. Each one is about 30 minutes or so and the boss battles range from easy to difficult. The average level has you defeat several enemies. Next, you move on and defeat more enemies, and so on. Sometimes, there is a new feature such as an enormous Phantom or a device that calls more Phantoms. The bosses are characters such as Doc Ock and Rhino. Usually during a boss fight, you have to figure out your opponent's weakness and exploit it. Other times, you just brawl from start to finish. You use basic moves to attack in the beginning. Later you can buy upgrades for your characters that do everything from increasing their health to giving them new special attacks. The only thing about this game that is a bit disappointing is the fact that you can buy several items and make the boss battles significantly easier.
The multiplayer mode is ridiculously fun. You brawl with your opponent using everything from webbing to earthquakes to EMP barrages. There are enough differences between the characters to make each one unique (except for Green Goblin and New Goblin, which are almost exactly the same.)
With tons of unlockables, challenging boss fights, creative character design, and great multiplayer mode, this game is one great buy!Get more detail about Spiderman: Friend or Foe.
