SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 is a collection of sixteen SNK coin-op arcade games that have been ported to the Playstation 2. The games included on this collection are: Art of Fighting, Baseball Stars 2, Burning Fight, Fatal Fury, King of the Monsters, Last Resort, Magician Lord, Metal Slug, Neo Turf Masters, Samurai Showdown, Sengoku, Shock Troopers, Super Sidekicks 3, The King of Fighters 94, Top Hunter, and World Heroes. Unlike many collections of this nature, this collection actually contains no sub-par games. While each game may not be a classic like Metal Slug or Samurai Showdown, each of the games are interesting and warrant being replayed. As far as the port end of things, each of these games has been transfered to the Playstation 2 in a way that makes them look and feel just like the arcade originals. Although, the Playstation 2 ports do add a rapid fire option, which can be a life saver for some of these games.
