I would highly recommend that you play all the Yakuza games before you play 3, because there a great story within 1&2 and boss battles you'll be missing out on. The Re-play value is through the roof, and the character designs are amazing. And In each and every Yakuza game you'll find some short of connection with a character that you can relates too, or feel sorry for, or hate. I highly recommend you either rent or buy this game. The seller that is currently selling this game must be out of his mind too want $67 for this game. Try to find it for 15-$25 if you can.Get more detail about Yakuza 2.
