Well this was the first ddr I actually owned and I bought the fat dance mats to play it. It was a thrill. The songs were awesome and catchy. So what did I do, I went and bought DDRextreme and Extreme 2, DDRMAX1, and even got an import playstation 2 to play the japanese ddr extreme, ddrmax2, and disney mix. But this one is always the one I come back to. This game is all about the song selection and I didn't care much for DDRmax one's song selection. The Japanese mixes were better than most of the american mixes but I ran out of room to have two playstation 2's so I had to get rid of them and so I still play ddrmax2 (the american version) to this day. Great to get rid of excess fat and pounds instead of playing rpgs where I tend to gain weight through a good one (probly because I'm drinking soda, pizza, and just being a couch potatoe.) This game encourages me to eat better and exercise, but you need a good dance mat!!! None of that thin mat will do.Get more detail about Dance Dance Revolution Max 2.
