This is an arcade style brawl game. For those familiar with the Justice League, you are in control of the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe as they take on a legion of villains guided by Brainiac. You can play one player with the computer controlling the second hero fairly well, or have a friend join you for more fun. For the most part it is pre determined which heroes play each level, but there are several areas where it is your choice who you take on the mission. Along the way you can collect shields(which you can use to unlock new heroes and costumes) and boosts which you use to up the combat/energy/healing skills of your heroes. There are 3 skill levels of play, and lots of save points so new players can easily get through this game on the easy level while allowing the hardcore player a bit of a challenge on the expert level. There is some great voice acting and nice cut scenes with a solid story. The replay value is moderate because the fighting does get a bit repetitive but the unlocking of new characters does make it fun as well as the higher skill levels.
